It is a GTR. Might be an XU-1. What is its engine number?

The VIN looks wrong though like either it's made up or typed incorrectly. Is this a fair dinkum post?

Post your numbers on gmh-torana.com to check if XU1. That is an early VIN so doesnt have the engine code in it. There were no factory LJ V8, the only LJs Holden had with V8s in them were Harrys prototypes and these were either crushed or converted back an

You only have to be in front at the end of the race.

Hi Ross,

Did you get an answer? Which state are you in?

I can help you identify its authenticity as factory V8 if it has XW-7 on the tag.

Cheers.
