Anti-theft module / BCM - used in VP Calais, VQ Series 2 stato/caprice. Make sure you get the matching remotes for it, otherwise they are almost impossible to get programmed.

Thanks Mick, loom is being used in a v6 FC and seems to be all ok. Door remotes are not in use, just manual key entry and anti theft switch works as it should. Cheers.

You can bypass it completely & remove it. The door pillar switch has 4 wires going to it. When "on" 2 are NC and 2 are NO. When the key is turned, they reverse, so you can permanently take it out of the loop by joinging the right wires (and leaving the others open) - unless you plan on using it as a secondary key-operated immobilizer when it's parked up. |
