Looking for a replacement heater on/off valve. I believe it's the 3 port vacuum type, I have a HJ with integrated factory air and 5 litre motor. At the moment there is no valve at all so water flowing through the heater core all the time. Are these still available or is there one from another make model that would work? Thanks

Very hard to find. I paid over $300 for a NOS one over 4 years ago. You will find something to work but won't look right. You are up against HQ GTS350 owners bidding on these. |

Thanks guys for your assistance and advice. My HJ is build date 8/75, is this pre ADR27A? Not sure but I thought all that pollution crap started on HX series. Just want to make sure the 3 port valve is the correct one for my car.

Identical to my car. It is a 3 port metal valve with a lever actuated by vacuum operator. As I said almost impossible to find |

From what i have read here and on a few other forums a original GMH one is pertant near impossible to find,as HK said... There are other vacuum 3 ways from other makes at a fair price on ebay...I see them listed off a Saab and Vectra plus in the USA's ebay... Postage costs are expensive from the US tho. Winter is here so you will have it on anyway lol.

They are definitely 3 way. I made a mistake earlier saying they were the same as HQ 350 - I bought a complete HQ 350 engine and transmission setup a while back and it had one on it, but it may have been an original non-350 but A/C car (these are the same part number as HJ vacuum heater tap). See this old thread: http://www.fastlane.com....cuum-switch-WANTED.aspx

Ok here is how I post a pic on forums......(if i remember right) Open a new page and google up a picture hosting site...lets say TinyPic. Scroll down to choose file and click, then a selection of where the file /pic is to be taken from...I stick the pic on my desk top so i can find it easy just for posting. Highlight image it probably will be highlighted anyway....scroll down to the upload button and click..A pop up may come up so just answer the question. Another page will come up ...click on the 2nd one down that says IMG code for forums and message boards, copy it...then waste here or your forum ...I just did it...hope it works Edited by user Monday, 15 May 2017 6:08:55 PM(UTC)
