Have had my HT GTS under cover in the shed for a long while and when moving it the other day was surprised to learn the previously fine steering wheel was all sticky (very).
So I figure no problem as I have a good one stored away in a cupboard. Well much to my horror this one is sticky as hell also.
Does any one know how or if they can be fixed / de-stickied now that I have 2 useless steering wheels ?

I have a fair few HT-HZ ones in boxes and hanging around in the shed, they all go like that. I normally just clean them with vinyl cleaner. Not sure if it is the right thing to do or not.

It’s known to happen to GTS steering wheels.
It’s the plastic breaking back down
Into oil, which it’s made from.
It happened to one of mine. I stored it inside afterwards, where it’s cooler which worked.
