I am currently getting a HK back on the road and bought a set of rare spares studs and nuts to replace all the old ones. The nuts are correct taper for HK and the outside diameter is 3/4”. The mechanic who is doing the roadworthy and some other repairs made contact today and is under the impression they should be 13/16”. Can someone confirm what it should be, 3/4 or 13/16 of an inch?
Cheers

All Holden wheel nuts from FE to WB are 3/4-inch A/F.
The taper changed at HT. FE to HK have the shallow taper & HT to WB have the deeper taper. Threads are all 7/16 UNC.

Dr Terry I believe the studs and nuts are 7/16" x 20TPI, which is 7/16" UNF, not UNC.
