Not sure if they are easily rebuilt? Dr Terry is your man for that. Any of this stuff “genuine” even if available will just be Chinese stuff in Holden boxes. I bought a “genuine” master for a VT recently and it was just a cheapy in a Holden box.

I wouldn't buy one from an auto parts store. Find the specialist brake store in your state and get one from there. They either rebuild them or sell good ones, not sure which, but the quality will be much better based on my experience.

The new Bosch one will most likely be Chinese.

Your old master will more than likely need a re-sleeve at that age, just bite the bullet & get it done properly.

A stainless steel sleeve will last a lifetime.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
