I have a genuine pbr unit on the unit, prob original. Are the worthwile rebuilding or should I just buy a new one? Is it still possible to get genuine?

Not sure if they are easily rebuilt? Dr Terry is your man for that. Any of this stuff “genuine” even if available will just be Chinese stuff in Holden boxes. I bought a “genuine” master for a VT recently and it was just a cheapy in a Holden box. |

I wouldn't buy one from an auto parts store. Find the specialist brake store in your state and get one from there. They either rebuild them or sell good ones, not sure which, but the quality will be much better based on my experience.

Ok just found out I can get the old one rebuilt for 150 providing it doesn’t need a re sleve Or a new bosch unit is 250 Edited by user Monday, 11 October 2021 11:55:50 AM(UTC)

Your old master will more than likely need a re-sleeve at that age, just bite the bullet & get it done properly. A stainless steel sleeve will last a lifetime. Dr Terry |
