I found this colour diagram for LX Torana, and the red wire from the light switch goes to the fuse box (I assume the live side, not after a fuse) and also the battery via fusible link. So that confirms what others have said here, that there's power to the switch that's not from downstream of a fuse.  Edited by user Sunday, 10 March 2024 1:35:34 PM(UTC)
