Hi all has anyone ever fitted the Lowe Fabrications HZ to VT commodore bolt on Booster and Master Cylinder upgrade? Any recommendations on Mechanics in South East Melbourne who you could recommend to Install. Lowe fabrications KitThanks All Tony

I’d talk to whichever Engineer you’ll use to certify it first to make sure it can pass OK. |

Lowe fabrications KitThanks All Tony 2 issues - needs engineering certification if going on a HZ and will not fit HZs (or anything) with rear drum brakes if I read the Lowe website page correctly |

Thanks Smitty,I cant see where it says on the website it doesnt work with rear drums. I was thinking an djustable brake proportioning valve inline with the rear brake line to manually dial down the rear brake pressure might work

I think the VT cylinder works OK on drums. Its what my HK has, it has BA-FG calipers and rotors on the front and standard HQ rear drum brakes. It uses a standard HG booster though, it is better than a VT one. Just has a cylinder adapter to make it work. Will be certified along with the rest of the car. Has to have braking tests done. |
