Hi, Just got the chassis back last night and put it under the body with new rubber mounts.
Can anyone advise where or what to measure to check the alignment, fore and aft position and centreline before tightening it all up?
All the bolts are in, but it appears to be closer to the sill on one side than the other by about 6mm which doesn't look right.
Thanks for any help.

On my tonner I have left chassis mounts all loose until I align all panels nip them up but not too tight then can be moved enough to get it all lined up

PM me on the weekend to remind me and i'll see if I can find my drawings that show full chassis alignment specs for HQ-HZ chassis. It is a big A3 book that has all diagonal measurments etc in it.

Mate you can get it straight as you like using measurements but in reality the only way to get these cars right is by gapping it.

Cocko 750 is spot on with his advise
