hi im haveing trouble finding a oil pump to fit my hk 307 with atandard sump. the one i got from repco is to big and hits the sump please i need any help i can get thanks

It's probably not the pump that's causing the problem, but the pickup (the pipe that comes out of the pump). Chev's in HK's require a special pickup. As far as I know, no one is reproducing them and you certainly won't get one from Repco. You'll have to find an original second hand one. Ebay and Gumtree are the usual sources. You'll also need the special bolt that locates the pickup on one of the main bearing caps.

Oh ok thanks i have a pick up out of a 308 ht or g will that fit

The pic below will give you some idea of what a HK / Chev pickup looks like. The bolt shown in the pic that supports the pickup to the bearing cap is not the standard bolt because this is a 4 bolt block, but gives you the general idea.
