HZ 308 Sprintgas lpg lid fault question??

Rank: Member Reputation: Groups: Registered Joined: 11/03/2005(UTC) Posts: 480		Hi all, Well I thought I had fixed the problem as the one way valve was sticking, however I still chugg a fair bit on petrol (especially uphill) and the diaphram in the Sprintgas lid doesn't open much at all, however it will hold open if I lift it up by hand with the car idling on petrol. Question I have is should I be able to lift the lid by mouth suction on the pipe? I can't and I think I can hear air at the diaphram while I try. Are these a replaceable item?? Any other ideas on what it might be? Ta Peter Never late with a 308!!

If u replace it with a impco mixer you will have to replace the convertor as well. Impco systems use a

It's definately the mixer, I have tried alternate vacuum sources, checked all the pipework etc etc but the dam lid won't lift!!

So that will be installed in the new year. Will just try to get the existing one working enough to get through Xmas in the meantime!! Cheers
