Hi gents, ill need to rip the cover off anyway, but can someone tell me what gearsets were used in hq/wb 6 cyl panelvans?
Was the 4.44 only used in the tonners?

6-cyl panel vans had 3.36 or 3.55 banjos HQ-HZ (small Salisbury in WB) with 3.08 as a rare 'economy' option.
AFAIK Large Salisbury rear axles (including the 4.44) were never fitted as base equipment to 6-cyl panel vans.

Most Holden's if not all have the ratio embossed in the pinion seal dust cover just behind the yoke.

never accept those as correct because it is a dust seal and if it has been recoed or pinnion seal changed they will put anything on.. going to church makes you no more a christian than standing in a garage makes you a car... www.classicozwreck.com.au |
