Hi Guys,
Looking for the final piece of my puzzle. I got a v8 yoke to put on my 6cyl banjo. Turns out it does not fit (bummer) Any way.
If anyone has a v8 banjo centre or even a complete diff for a HK i would be happy to buy it off you ASAP.
I am located in Werribee VIC 0418114706

The only difference between a V8 and a 6cyl banjo diff centre is the yoke. So if the V8 yoke you have does not fit your banjo centre I would suspect that it is a Salisbury or 10 bolt yoke not a banjo one. Cheers Paul. Edited by user Monday, 4 April 2011 7:28:34 PM(UTC)

A V8 Banjo diff centre has two long bolts attaching it to the housing. 6 cylinder bolts are all same length. |

only 3.08 or 2.78 banjos have two long bolts on the bottom and they can be 6cyl or v8 the only differences is the yoke |

FYI every 3.08 & 2.78 banjo diff had th 2 long bolts on bottom (one being drain plug)regardless of whether it be in a 6cyl or V8. Every 3.36, 3.55 etc were all short bolts in 6cyl or V8. They were all made for 6cyl then holden just whacked a bigger yolk on em to suit V8 t/shaft !!!! I HOPE THIS CLEARS UP ANY WRONG INFO THATS BEEN LISTED regards dave www.bellarineclassicautos.com.au

Also another addition, all HK 6cyl 3.08 banjo centres had V8 yokes. |
