Gent's I've had some more time today to look into this.

QUEENSLAND RULES:
- No limits on rim diameter, only wheel overall diameter
- For a car or car derivative, the maximum tyre width is more than 1.3 times larger than the vehicle manufacturer�s widest optional tyre width.
- Tyre overall diameter must not exceed +15mm or -26mm than the standard tyre for vehicle model
-> Optional original tire and wheel sizes on HQ 1 Tonner/Ute:

255/60R15 27.1" 7-9" 77-26 (52 with 8" rim)
215/70R15 26.9" 5.5-7" 75-37 (25 with 7.5" rim)
illegal sizes:
275/60R15 28.0" 7.5-9.5" 85-34 (21 with 10" rim)
295/50R15 26.6" 8-10" 92-41
- The original manufacturer�s front and rear track measurements for a car or car derivative is increased by more than 26 mm
-> HQ wheels have a standard offset of 13-16.5mm, the track per side can only increase by 26/2=13mm, so we have minimum offset of 0mm.
- The tyre width of the narrowest tyre fitted to a vehicle is less than 70 percent of the width of the largest tyre fitted


So the final choice would be:
front: 15x7.5" with 0mm offset (for tire BFG R/T 215/70R15)
rear: 15x9" with 0mm offset (for tire BFG R/T 255/60R15)

Does anyone see any issues with the QLD rules?
Anyway, I'm moving back to South Africa taking car with me..
