Is there any one out there that knows what is required to fit a 221 falcon crank to a red 6? Also how much extra cubes does it get you and what other falcon parts a required please, thanks

I think they were about 230ci with standard bore. I saw Tony Webster in Newcastle building one once. There was some machine work on the crank and clearancing of the block. I think they also welded the crank in a cut and shut to an early red 6 forged crank, can't remember if it was the rear or the snout. From memory it had to be a small main journal block, so 179, or 186. 186 would be the best as they'd have the least overbore.

Try Pro-stroke i am pretty sure they used to do them, not sure if they still do? You would get 235ci with this crank combo.

Yep, Pro Stroke and yep 235 cubes. I remember reading a magazine article on Pro Stroke engineering in the '80's, still have the mag " somewhere " ???

I do remember that part of the process was machining and welding on the holden flywheel flange to the 221 Ford crank.
