Hi All
Took the HQ for a drive this afternoon and noticed that the heater fan is working,but on both Hi and Lo settings it is spinning a lot slower than usual. I am thinking that somewhere in the circuit I have an increase in resistance or alternatively the motor is beginning to fail.

Can anyone give me some tips on what to check and what is the most likely cause of the problem.

Location: On a build over WWII airfield. Got the .50 cal cases from my driveway to prove it

Motor bushes need lube? Maybe. I'd be checking the voltage at the fan
on both speeds first.

Might also pay to check voltage going into & out from the switch, to
eliminate that as the problem.

Dunno if its possible- could you disconnect the fan from its wiring &
try 12V direct from the battery?

Would also pay to remove the fan and see if it spins freely. Is it making any odd noises?

Never lubricate brushes, only check length, spring tension, not binding in slides.
the rest is good!
