Apart from the plates welded to the underside, what are the differences between a TH400 cross member & the other ones?

Gear box mount holes in a different position?

Thanks for your help.

Chris

Slots in a different spot. Ute/van/tonner are narrower too.

Any ideas how much narrower? I've just sold mine to a bloke with a one tonner.

Better not bank the money just yet!
Thanks, Byron.

About 50mm overall. The commercials have boxed rails hence why the crossmember is shorter,

You can turn a sedan/wagon/coupe/Statesman one into a commercial. Just lop the ends off, redrill 4 x holes and weld the captive nuts back on (or just use bolts and nuts). Just lay a commercial one next to it and mark where to cut and where to drill the holes.
