Can i please get some technical help on this matter. I have a hk v8 disk brake front end. One caliper says girling the other nothing. The disks are 5/8 inch thick and there is no spacer in between the caliper halves like the later ht hg girlock calipers. I thought all girling hk calipers used a half inch disk not 5/8 disk.

Are they XT discs and possibly calipers? |

GTS are the same as all others with disc brakes in the same series in HK-HG. The only odd one out is HT GTS350 which has the HG's rotors and calipers with spacers. A common mod for the day if you put an XW-XY 9" in a HK-HG was to put XT rotors on as it was an easy way to change stud pattern to Ford on the front. I think you just used HG calipers with them but possibly XT. |
