G`day All,
I put electronic ignition in my 202 red motor last weekend, and after the first tankful (its my work ute so it does a few miles)there is absolutely no difference either way in either performance or fuel economy- what gives? so many people said it would improve both or at least one, but its as though nothing has changed, have I done my dough and been conned here or what?

And also re-gap your points to 1.5mm, instead of 0.9mm. I noticed little difference until I did that.
You should also have a smoother accelleration curve, and less dead spots than on the points dizzy.

Also, you will need to have the dizzy regraphed with the car on a dyno to acheive maximum benefit. Check that your vacuum advance can is working on the new dizzy.
