G'day All,
My indicators dont cancel after a right turn, is that something that is common and if so is it easy to fix? I havent taken a steering wheel off for nearly 20 years, what do I need to look for? Thanks .

May have a broken spring or plastic tab. You have to take the wheel off to find out. Hint- lossen the steering wheel nut a couple of turns as you have to wobble/ flex the steering wheel to free it. Mark the splines as so you put it back in the same spot.

Normally when I've found this it's one of the cancelling springs/wire loop missing or someone has fitted the horn and cancelling mech onto a sports wheel in the wrong place. If the wheel won't remove as Crowe says you may need a puller.

Or failing that, a helmet to prevent steering wheel leaving imprint in forehead...

The indicator switch (located behind the steering wheel) has a plastic component and a couple of springs.Once you have the wheel off you can easily see what is broken or not. You can get replacement springs SC1002 from Rares
