HQ Floppy wing mirror Options

Danger of scraping a very lovely paint job! Driver's sides is stiff (good). Is there some sort of easy fix? Thanks. Toby.

You sit in the car and get a helper to adjust the mirror then using masking tape to hole it in position for 12 hours. Problem solv
