Another basic one, sorry, but my passenger side wing mirror almost flaps around on the end of the ball type fixture - won't hold a position. Danger of scraping a very lovely paint job! Driver's sides is stiff (good). Is there some sort of easy fix? Thanks. Toby.

Tighten the screws on the mirror or replace it with a better one. Tighten the support nut too. Open the window to do that one. Cost u around $5.00 at the wreckers..Torana Gemini has the same unit.

Not sure if it will work, but you could try "belt grip" sprayed on the ball joint....comes in a spray can. |

Toby,
I'll need to confirm its availability, but I may have a passenger's side HQ - HZ door mirror for sale. It has some pitting on the inside of the arm and the back of the mirror head needs a polish but it isn't floppy and comes with all screws and a

The three screws on the rear of the actual mirror will pull a plate up against the mirror screw end and tighten it from being loose.provided that they haven't been undone before and the plate slipped loose, then it doesn't matter how hard you try you will

You can't bet 5 minute 2 pack epoxy glue, make sure its in the correct position first you have a minute before it goes hard. You sit in the car and get a helper to adjust the mirror then using masking tape to hole it in position for 12 hours. Problem solv
