Rank: Member Reputation: Groups: Registered Joined: 19/05/2007(UTC) Posts: 35		Hi Guys Am currently in the process of replacing my 327 chev with a 308, and was planning on using the same gearbox(th400), tailshaft and diff.. Was hoping to just replace engine. I have noticed that the 308 is a couple of inches shorter than the chev, so my question is, does this bring the gearbox forward as well and will I have to get another crossmember and tailshaft to suit, or does it still all match up.
