Another thing to check,, Most often the face of the pump will warp with age and people overtightening the bolts,, Run a straight edge accross the pump, (normally the lower section is the one that leaks the most), and check to make sure it is straight,,, |

By the way, I've been working on Holden 6s for over 40 years & have never had an issue with oil leaking at the fue |

Back to issue at hand, agree with HGPREM, that Hylomar is the jobbie for fuel / oil applications as a gasketting compound. I have found another product which is even more aggressive. Is called "Seal All" and is comes in a yellow tube. Is more of a glue |

Another leak I have found on red motor fuel pumps is were the pivot pin fits in. The little core plugs can leak and or fall out. But normally it is what arse_wipe said about the pump bending with age or what Dr Terry said about the internal seal leaking a
