Hi all,
I just bought a 10bolt sals, 3.08 LSD with discs - but no calipers.
Could someone tell me the best/easiest to find calipers to go on this diff?
Also, could anyone enlighten me regarding the h.brake 'probs' with disc rear ends (everyone says they have probs but no one says exactly what and if there is a fix??)
..and last q, will I need to change the std v8 booster setup in the tonner for the rear discs?
Thanks all void

Calipers are unique to HZ, WB and A9X although from memory the A9X uses a different handbrake bracket. The problem with the handbrake is it tends to sieze up as it is operated by a lever on the rear of the caliper that drives the piston against the discs. |

Hi Mr Void.
Im not sure, but I dont think you can bolt a 3.36 gearset in place of a 3.08. From memory the offeset of the hemisphere is different.

I think they do. From memory the 2.6 and 2.78 hemispheres are the same, and the 3.08 to 4.44 are the same. So you should be able to do a hemisphere swap, but use a diff place to set it up for you unless you have all the correct tools.

yeah i think the 2s are different. With the rear hand brake bracket, if you lower the rear leafs using lowering blocks the bracket clears. I am not sure with reset rear leaf springs tho. Just got mine done and havent hooked up the brakes yet. I have some
