Does anybody know the daily output of the various factories as I have 2 9/78 Pagewood tags with the body numbers about 260 apart, the chassis numbers are just over 300. Were they built on the same day (unlikely) 1 or 2 days apart (more likely) or a week apart?

all i can say, is that holden is cutting jobs from its plant in Elizabeth because the VE is too efficient, the VE would be done in the same day.

If nissan motorsport is nismo, then doesnt that make honda motorsport Homo?

I found out that Holdens in Eliz has taken back the export preparation jobs and sunroofs from HBD and will run it with its own employees.

They made 154,155 HZs at 4 plants but Sydney and Adelaide were the big ones, so I would suggest maybe 1/3 at Pagewood.

Made between 10/77 and about 3/80, about 29 months

So monthly output would be 5315 a month or 170 to 250 a day depending on how ma

Hi Guys.

Yes, that is correct, the RB20-E (2.0-litre 6-cyl) was available for VLs made in NZ.

When I worked at GMH Eliz back in 87 we still had a few 2.0 VL`s comming down the line, near the end of the VL series we had a batch from a cancelled order for export we had to change the petrol tanks so they could be sold else where.
