Is there any chance of Rares turning these into HJ, HX fascia's by removing the RTS raised section on the left side? That is the only thing stopping me from buying a repro fascia for my HX Sandman. Also do Rares make the radio blank off for these?

It is not possible for us to remove the raised section successfully although I do know it has been done. We do not make the blanking plate for the dash

Hi Les, I didnt mean physically grinding it off. I was thinking it may not be too costly to have the mold modified by infilling the raised RTS section and whether Rares would consider doing it as there are a lot more HJ/HX Monaros and Sandmans than there are HZs.

Thanks Les, Ill put my hand up for one or two straight away if you decide to go with it.....and I dont think Ill be standing in line by myself. The only way to get one, so it seems, is on ebay (or similar) and all of them, bar none, have butchered radio holes.
Surely they would be more popular than the HZ ones given it covers two models.......wouldnt it?
