I just tried a 4 inch backspace on a 10 inch rim and 295 tyre and it does not fit.

I doubt you'll get a 295 under the guards,but maybe a 265 on a 10(but 9 would be better)and the 265s look good on a 10inch rim.

Try a 6inch backspace(6inchs in from flange,4inchs out from flange) with a 265,I reckon that will come close to fitting!!!

I just took the wheel off and did some measurements and at this point in time it looks like it could fit a 10 inch rim with 4.5 inch backset and whilst lowered the wheel fits into the arch and leaves about an inch from the leaf springs "theoretically"

You could make up a little jig out of some scrap timber to measure exactly what can fit under your guards.

Get a peice of wood approx 100mm X 20mm(old fence paling) and cut it about 20mm less than the tyre diameter, then drill some holes in it so you ca

mate that is a great idea I was thinking of getting an old ford rim and grinding it out and making some sort of adjustable thing, but thats great I'll do that I can even make the total diameter of the wheel size and that way i can see how high the car wil

The biggest tyre you'll fit under the guards is 28" tall and 10" wide. That's using stock offset rims ie XB-EL. 10" wide is around a 275 wide tyre.

Note: It could be 10.5" wide? I don't have easy enough access to go and read the sidewall of my tyres.

thanks for that I estimated that I have 720mm in height as I put a plumb bob down from the inside of my guard and thats with a 1.5inch lowering block so you telling me that helps thankyou, I'm pretty sure the 10 will fit with like you said 275 tyre so I'm
