Can anybody tell me if there is a difference between 6cyl and 8cyl radiator support panels on the HG,HK and HT models.

no difference in panels, but the 6 uses a "spacer" which looks like a box

No. HK is different for the grille mounts. And Premier/Brougham is different of course.

Sorry for the confusion, what i mean is, is the rad support panel for the 8cyl of a stronger construction than the 6cyl, regardless of model, grills etc. As is the case with the XA to XC Fords, the rad support panel is reinforced and the opening for the r

The answer is Holden engineered their cars to take all engines, so no difference in:

Crossmember
Front chassis
Radiator support

If you look at front chassis, there are two types per model, single and dual headlight.
