There are body shims that alter the tilt of the front clip. This gets the gap from the front guard to the door aligned.

the two big bolts that hold your radiator support to your chassis rails, shims go between there to adjust

I was amazed at how well everything lined up when i put my front end on. Even with two new panels mixed with two old ones. Theres movement in the body holes so you can align seams and edges. I measured from a level surface to points on the radiator support to get that level, and then after bolting the panels up loosely, measured again. As i went i compared panel gaps to what my measurements told me was straight. On anything less than a "perfect" car there will probably be a little compromise here.
