Hello, anyone got any advise, ive just put a new 950cfm race carb on my 351 and hooked up a new fuel pump and reg.
Fuel pump is pre-set to 9psi , fuel reg i have adjusted to 4psi and yet it still leaks fuel badly from front and rear power valves just under the bowls.
Could this mean the new power valves are stuffed (2) the psi is still to highor (3) needle and seat stuck?. I havent even started the car yet so this leak is just from turning it on and watching the bowls fill.
Any help would really be appreciated.

Check your float levels.

Agreed, check the floats then go from there.

Should car be running before you set the reg psi or can that be done without engine running and just activating the fuel pump ????
