When you say 'front end', do you mean front suspension or front panels ?

Years ago, after a minor ding, I had an LJ nose cone fitted to an LC so I could fit the LJ grill (I thought then that LJ looked better). The grill went on easily. But then I found that the LJ headlight surrounds would not fit to the LC mudguards. I was not prepared to fit LJ guards, or to modify the LC guards (Would have probably needed bog and repaint). Therefore I ground off the vertical pillars beside the headlights and re-fitted the LC grill and headlight surrounds.
My opinion: Don't do it. I now think LC grill looks better anyway. If you do, I suggest you also change the rear lights - the car will look a bit silly with LJ front and LC rear.
