there are 2 pipes which the auto trans oil runs thru to the radiator and back to the transmission.
where the top one goes into the radiator tank it has sprung a water leak, causing the water to spurt out when the engine is running.
there appears to be a large nut around the base of the pipe to the radiator I assume there is a rubber seal or something which keeps the water in.
I rang the holden people to get new seals but they did not have a clue what I was talking about.
Are there seals, how difficult are they to replace, w2here do I get them?

John, these radiators do not have separate service parts, that's why the dealer can't help.

If you have a coolant leak in that spot, my guess is the the plastic tank has a crack in it.

New complete radiators are cheap, shop around, but use the correct coolant otherwise the new one won't last long.

if shoping for a radiatot get a good brand like adrad or something, with radiators you get what you pay for.

Very true, but I've had several top brand radiators fail, blamed on crook coolant that wasn't.

it seems to be the industry standard on radiators when you want warranty, sorry bud it was stray current caused by bad coolant or some other magical bad earth.

Pulled the radiator today, there are 2 rubber 0 rings one under each tube fitting were fairly easy to remove the old ones with a fine screw driver and a pair of long forceps. replaced with new ones out of my plumber's kit, a little bit small but work, will do again next week when I get to cbc or bsc as the top one still does not seal properly needs to be a bit thinner.
but i suspect there may be a fine crack just next to the tube.

lol i love plumbers they seem to be able to fix anything with there tool kit :-)
