Replacing WH statesman ignition barrel

Just wondering when I replace it will I need a new key for the new barrel and then if so does this mean I'll need to replace the door lock to match so I only have to use the one key? Can you order a new barrel that will match the keys that I have already? Any help would be good

The one near me even has the barrels in stock for VN-VS and VT-VZ.
