hi guy's,i was told that hk monaro's have different coloured tailshafts,if thats the case what colour would it be for a 307,glide monaro be.thanks.

HK Monaro with 307 and powerglide will be a pink 55.35" tailshaft. These were standard with 2.78 LSD banjo. If it has an optional 10-bolt diff then it'll be a dark green 53.71" tailshaft. If it is a GTS then it'll most likely be the dark green shaft although it was possible to get a HK V8 GTS with banjo. |

thanks for your reply byron,mine is a 307,glide lsd banjo,so i guess it will be a pink tailshaft.geez,of all the colours out there pink.!!do you have any pictures so i could get a rough idea of the shade of pink.thanks in advance.

No I don't, the last one I had in original paint is at my mate's place in his HK 307 auto banjo GTS (very early HK GTS when banjos and 5" rims were still standard on GTS). It came from a HG 253 M21 Kingswood sedan (253 M21 banjo also uses the pink tailshaft). |

^^That is the 2nd type HK GTS327 Voilet shaft. Carried over int0 HT GTS350 manual only and early HG GTS350 manual only. |
