Could be low fuel pressure from a tired pump - it needs time to build pressure, and the initial burst when you turn the key may not be enough. You can diagnose this easily by manually bridging the fuel pump relay terminals with a paperclip for 20-30 seconds or so before you try to cold-start the car. If it starts straight away, then it's a tired pump.
Have you tried bridging out the diagnostic terminals in the OBD plug & counting the flashes of the check engine light? The ECM has possibly stored a fault code that will pinpoint the problem for you. |
Cheers,
