The fuel pump relay on a VX Commodore, is the relay on all the time when the engine is running or does it switch on and off?

If it switches on and off, does it switch the + side or the - side?

The fuel pump relay is on all the time the engine is running, as well as a few seconds of priming when the ignition first is switched on, before starting.

The relay is switched on its +ve side directly from the ECU (pin E10).

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
