Hi,
Have a VR 304 with an engine number VU624xxx. Would that block be late enough to have been relieved for the stroker or how would I tell from the exterior?
Thanks,
Mauser

Mauser what is the cast date? look at the numbers on the top of the cam tiiming chain extension at the front late cast 1994 dates most likely relieved if there is NO casting of a 5.0 on the outside if its a 1992 or 1993 date, the answer def is not. As above. It will say 5.0L if it’s the standard 304 or be blank if it has the reliefs to be built as a 304/5.0L or a 350/5.7L. |
