Hi all

Trying to bleed the brakes HJ 1 Tonner

Disc front, drum rear

Rebuilt master cylinder, Prop valve, booster & front calipers

I bled the master cylinder in the car but its pretty difficlut to remove the temp bleed tubes then connect the hard lines to prop valve without both dripping fluid & possibly letting air re-enter.

Do I need to remove brake fail switch from prop valve whilst bleeding ?

Should I get a decent pedal after just doing rears ?

Thanks in advance

if the rear shoes are adjusted pretty good you should get half a pedal from just gravity bleeding the system as in open the nipples until fliud comes out,
remove and reset switch after you finish bleeding was how we used to do it. Assuming you have the car jacked up reasonably level.
GM bleed us dry and run away.
