Hi folks,
I am looking at purchasing a HK GTS, meant to be a genuine 307 car, the code is 80737, is there a way to differentiate if it was a 186 or 307 engined car originally?
Cheers

Not from the tags. You have to look hard at the body in a number of places, and I won't divulge that publicly as it helps fakers. If you post up the vehicle's numbers it will narrow down the possibilities but still won't pick it for certain. Is it claimed to be a manual or auto?

Thanks for the information. It is claimed to be an auto with a two-speed Powerglide transmission. The powerglide is currently in it.
