Hi. Does anyone know if Hq-Hz sedan fuel tanks are interchangable. I need to replace the one in my Hq, strange rattle when doing between 100-110kmh. Heard fuel senders may be different in later tanks (cause of the different gauges) if this is true can i take my original and swap into new tank? or do they have differnt mountings? Cheers

HJ onward has a bigger 16 gallon fuel tank , but should still fit using the straps that come off the later tank.
I think the senders should work , the GTS had a different sender in the tank I believe.

I have tryed removing petrol cap already. The rattle sounds as if its coming from inside or on top of tank. The fuel gauge works correctly so sender float shouldnt be hitting tank. The sender may be loose but i have to drop the tank to check, and if tank
