If your HT Premier is a 6 cyl it will most likely be an M20 Opel 4 speed, although the M21/M21 Saginaws were also an option. If it's a 253 or 308 V8 then it's an M21 Saginaw. Dr Terry

Optional on other models too eg HQ coupe. In HK-HG M20 is the Opel box, M21 is the V8 Saginaw close ratio box and M22 is the wide ratio Saginaw. Holden Recycled the option codes when they were obsolete.

The Mxx numbers are only RPO (Regular Production Option) numbers used by the sales dept. They do not refer to only one type of box.
