Hi Guys.
If your HT Premier is a 6 cyl it will most likely be an M20 Opel 4 speed, although the M21/M21 Saginaws were also an option. If it's a 253 or 308 V8 then it's an M21 Saginaw.

Hi Guys.
That should read M21 or M22 Saginaw as the 6 cyl alternative.

Only in the HK/T/G models.
In the HQ and later ones, the M22 is an Aussie box.

Yes, but 1st and 2nd WIDE not close. 3.74:1 1st. Optional on other models too eg HQ coupe.
In HK-HG M20 is the Opel box, M21 is the V8 Saginaw close ratio box and M22 is the wide ratio Saginaw. Holden Recycled the option codes when they were obsolete. |

Hi Guys.
The Mxx numbers are only RPO (Regular Production Option) numbers used by the sales dept. They do not refer to only one type of box.
In the HK/T/G & early LC Torana series M20 = Opel & M21 & M22 = Saginaw.
In HQ-WB Series & Torana (Mid |
