Rank: Member Reputation: Groups: Registered Joined: 12/01/2008(UTC) Posts: 11		Hi I just purchased a HK its been sitting in the shed for about 24yrs and in pretty good nic ? the compliance and body numbers match but how do I verify the engine number, should they be the same as one of the compliance plates.

The way to work out if the engine is close to right is to compare it to known matching numbers cars (by log books). There are no tag or body numbers anywhere on a HK that tell you when it was built. Make sure you keep the original running gear complete so it can be changed back. Use a HT/G trimatic shifter for the TH350. You can also use a Chev powerg
