Sandblasted the old extractors off my car. these will be used on the ute project.

Handbrake cable brackets added to the diff housing.






Sway bar mounts added.






All the welding complete. Ready for paint and brake reassembly.

Underdash assemblies finalised. EPAS column from a XC Barina. Modified EH pedal box with 7" dual diaphragm booster that is modified to take a VT-VY brake master cylinder. Commodore accelerator pedal modified to have the cable exit the firewall in the same place as the original linkage.







Seat belt mounting plates made 5000sq mm which is larger than the 3750sq mm required under VSCCS




Replacement inner and outer sills ready to be fitted..

Moved inside for some TLC



Started filling unwanted holes in the firewall and stripping the paint.

Firewall all welded, ground, sanded and deoxidised




Smaller holes were just filled with weld. No metal added. I just backed the hole with a copper plate whilst welding





All ready for shipping off to have the major rust repairs done..

The EH ute shell being wheeled into surgery. A week or so of metal cancer surgery and it should be good for another 50 years.

New sills, inner and outer as well as new dog leg sections and some hand made sections to finish off the rear of the sill and rear wheel arch..







Unused holes welded.







Sills done








Prime and filled, ready for reassembly










Engine and transmission painted and ready to go back in. Colour is a secret at the moment.

New tailgate skin fitted.




Hidden box for A/C controls and extra switches.




Drivers side A Pillar was pushed in and needed repairing.

BA Falcon calipers ready for rebuilding. These are going into the EH ute




Disassembled,sandblasted and casting flash linished off. Cleaned up with BrakeKleen and dried with compressed air.




Reassembled with new rubbers and Bendix pads..




Banksia handbrake kit fitted.




Stock BA V8 rear rotors painted and ready to fit.



All done

4PK pulley for the A/C compressor and old school gilmer drive for alternator and water pump.





Fuel pressure reg mounted




All our hose fittings are going to be black or brushed alloy so this lot needs to be stripped of Anodizing. Sodium Chloride is the answer.

Haha, you are of course correct. Sodium chloride may not work. Might make it taste nicer though.

Happy with the bodywork. Very good work and as you said speedy service. The price was on par with other quotes also..

I suppose you could pop some in the sandblaster, and use it as a mild abrasive.

Or mix it with water and stick a few amps through it. Then you'd get your Sodium Hydroxide, and some chlorine gas for good measure.

A few weekends work on the subframes. Braces the steering shaft centre bearing mount. Braced the outer sides of the subframe where the radiator cutout has been made. Filled all the unwanted holes..
