Just out of curiosity, is there a better after market shifter to suit a M20/21 Aussie 4 speed?

A new one from Rare Spares maybe that isn’t all sloppy. Speco used to sell an aftermarket shifter but I think the need for them died when people started throwing Aussie 4spds in the bin. The last time I had one, also in a WB, I swapped it out for a VK Trimatic and TH400 shifter. At the time I just grabbed a B&M cooler off a wreck and got some plastic coated 5/16” LPG copper pipe and bent it up to suit. TH400 shifter came with the harness that plugs straight into the WB harness. It actually made it a far more pleasant far to drive, and I left the clutch pedal there as a foot rest! I’d probably have an auto console insert here that will go straight into your console too. |

Would anyone have this alignment tool by any chance? I would like to rebuild my box and shifter but I can't find anything about this tool.
If someone has it and is willing to share the dimensions I can replicate the tool
Thank you
