hi, im going to remove the radiator from my vc hdt, it has air cond. does the condensor have to be removed as well?

Unbolt & lay the shroud back. Undo the transmission lines & radiator hoses. Remove the side mount clips & lift the radiaor out (vertically). Dr Terry |

Does the plastic panel in front in front of the radiator have to be removed?

The leak seems to be coming from the drivers side tank, so only when the thermo opens
It’s in one of the indents on the side of the tank
The radiator is original copper, I didn’t think a copper one would corrode?

The radiator is original copper, I didn’t think a copper one would corrode? the solder that holds the side tank to the core crumbles (thru age and repeated heating) any decent radiator shop can quickly fix this... ps... you do not need an alloy rad to replace it |

Is there a way to get the radiator support panel trim off without marking it up?
