I have a mate that is looking to change the column shift manual in his ute, to a floor shifter.
Does anyone have a 3 speed manual shifter out there that they are willing to part with?? In Adelaide would be good, but he will look anywhere.
cheers

If you can get hold of an Opel 4speed shifter it can be used on a 3 speed. Cheers, Pete. |

Hi Guys.
I've never seen an Opel 4-speed shifter used on an M15 3-speed, too many differences I think.
The best conversion, is to fit an Aussie 4-speed (M20/21/22) extension housing & shifter, they bolt straight on. Then just block off reverse. Conn |
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |

There is a 3 speed Speco floor shift on Ebay ATM. It's for an EH, so don't know about compatability. It's in Adelaide also.
Cheers.

Why stuff around? Just go out and buy an M20 or preferably M22 box secondhand for $150. A rebuild kit is about $80 if the box is OK. The bellhousing, clutch, tailshaft, rear mount, speedo cable etc are all the same. You'll have the 3 speed out and the 4 s |
